Eating feels good, doesn't it? Well, atleast when you eat something that is good, atleast good for you, that you like or enjoy. Food is something that the human body needs in order to perform its functions but more importantly, to keep working, to stay alive, to survive. Without food we would die a slow and pretty uncomfortable, painful death, but also many people eat food because it feels good not just because they need to and that is of course good, you should enjoy yourself, but it becomes a problem when you keep on eating even after you are full and you are no longer hungry, because that is how many people become overweight and obese and how health problems appear, diabetes, heart disorders and so on. Weight loss is all about eating what your body needs and no more and that should be enough for everyone. If after you are done eating you're feeling sick because you ate too much and you're too stuffed, you clearly have a problem.
Another thing is that dehydration leads to hunger and you eat more when you are thirsty. Water is just as important as food and dehydration is also unhealthy. It helps to drink water frequently and make sure you are hydrated because not only is it healthy and good for you but also keeps hunger away for longer. Also, despite what I am saying, sometimes people tend to be too harsh on themselves which is also a problem that very often leads to giving up and being unsuccessful. It can be very difficult to keep cravings away and to keep sticking to your diet. Allow yourself to cheat ever once in a while, it can help with your motivation and your progress and prevent you from giving up, getting bored, etc. Allow yourself to eat a pizza, drink a beer, enjoy yourself and have some fun but never forget that you are trying to lose weight, get back on track afterwards because if not then all your work would have been for nothing.
