We come across different type of people. People who believe whatever they find, see, and read on the internet. You must first do proper background research on anything that you are going to take for a long run. CLA supplements are taken for many reasons like dry skin and multiple sclerosis.
There are no any medical evidences that this actually works. This is not the correct way of treating yourself. One point that has to be noted is that CLA has health benefits only when it comes from its natural source.
CLA supplements are prepared by altering the chemicals and this is not good for your health. Since you buy your CLA supplements on your own decision, there will not be any proper dose for intake. This will complicate the things more. There are standard dose of any medication you take depends on your condition and disease. Since you buy supplements on your own and you do not have any medical supervision to take them you increase the chance of having an adverse effect on yourself.

You can get CLA naturally from the different dietary product you intake every day. This source of CLA is safe and have positive health benefits. You can also get CLA from other sources like sunflower and safflower oil, which are not natural CLA but are extracted from the natural sources with chemicals. These types of CLA is not good for your health. So, you must ensure you take proper CLA that are naturally produced not the manufactured one.
Possible side effect and worst case scenario
There are several side effects associated with CLA intake. Some of them are minor and can subside with proper medication. Some others are risky and may result in abnormal health condition. Some general side effect caused by CLA are nausea, diarrhea, fatigue and upset stomach.
In the worst case scenario people having diabetes may have worsen insulin resistance. Fatty liver is another risky side effect you may have to face due to overdose of CLA. There have been number of studies that show how CLA can affect the working mechanism of the liver. Liver is an important organ that plays a vital role as it converts excessive glucose into fatty acids. There are certain isomers present in CLA that can increase the accumulation of lipid in the liver and hence causing fatty liver. There are instances where your liver will grow in weight and size because of this.

We can say that CLA has both positive and negative effects on our health. We can simply categorize CLA into two groups for our convenience as Natural CLA and CLA supplements. Out of the two natural CLA has a positive impact on our health and they help us fight many diseases and condition. On the contrary CLA supplements produced with chemical altercation have a negative effect on us. It is therefore not advisable to eat lot of CLA supplements.
